in facilitation and curricula design. Skilled in effective communication and collaborating with remote teams to achieve project success in the globalized work environment. 

 A Licensed Addiction Counselor, Mental Health Specialist, and Author of “ACCEPTING Ashes,” Ashley brings extensive experience in substance abuse, trauma-informed therapy, community service, and advocacy to Connected To Recover. She is dedicated to providing quality care and education to the community, focusing on bridging the gap between addiction and mental health with compassion and empathy. 

Phyllis supports Connected to Recover with a background in finance and administration. With an eye for detail and a passion for purpose-driven work, they contribute to the organization’s mission through behind-the-scenes support, helping ensure resources are aligned with the goals of healing, awareness, and community impact. Phyllis brings  touch of creativity with her strong crafting skills.  

 Marquita is a Licensed Practical Nurse and the proud owner of Posh Soirée, a luxury event planning business. With a heart for care and creativity, they blend healthcare experience with an eye for design—bringing compassion, professionalism, and elegance to both their clinical work and entrepreneurial endeavors. 

Jay is the owner of Smart Choice Services and serves as Program Director at Queen City Treatment Center. With a passion for recovery and community empowerment, he brings leadership, dedication, and a client-centered approach to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and long-term wellness.
